The Burj Khalifa is one of the most iconic buildings in the world, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Here are some key facts about it:
Height: The Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest man-made structure ever built, reaching an impressive height of 828 meters (2,717 feet) with 163 floors.
Construction: Its construction began in January 2004 and was completed in 2010. It was officially inaugurated on January 4, 2010.
Architect: The building was designed by American architect Adrian Smith of the firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), which is also responsible for the design of many other famous skyscrapers.
Usage: The Burj Khalifa is used for residential, commercial, and hotel purposes. It houses luxury apartments, offices, and the Armani Hotel, designed by Giorgio Armani.
Elevators: The Burj Khalifa is equipped with 57 elevators and 8 escalators. Some of these elevators are among the fastest in the world, reaching speeds of 10 m/s (36 km/h).
World Record: In addition to being the tallest building, the Burj Khalifa also holds the record for the highest observation deck in the world, located on the 148th floor at 555 meters high.
Foundations: The foundations of the Burj Khalifa consist of reinforced concrete piles driven more than 50 meters underground to support the massive structure.

Height Effect: Due to its height, residents on the upper floors can witness two sunsets in one day, as they can see the sun set from the ground and then ascend to the upper floors to watch it set again.
